UES' W901-Z is their interpretation of the classic Type I denim jacket, sewn-up in their extra slubby heavyweight 17oz Japanese selvedge denim. The Type I was the original version of Levi's denim jacket in the early 20th century, which would later evolve to become what we now know as the Type II and Type III denim jacket styles. The Type I features a looser, boxier body with front pleats, a rear buckle back, and a single chest pocket.
