Samurai's work shirt is a timeless classic, built with a comfortable, versatile cut, two large acorn-shaped chest pockets, and side gussets. Finished with brown nut buttons and traditional triple-needle chainstitch construction with runoff.

In Japanese, "Kanoko" means "fawn" when translated literally, but it is also sometimes used to describe a variagated dot pattern like the spots on a fawn's back, particularly in relation to shibori dyeing. While not shibori dyed, Samurai's proprietary "Kanoko Aimadara" fabric combines cotton yarns dyed in a blend of natural and regular indigo with brown-dyed yarns to create a variagated reinforced in high wear areas with sashiko weaving techniques, increasing the strength of the fabric and ensuring that the spotted pattern will stand out more with wear.
