Smoky Daypack Black
Porter's "SMOKY" series showcases their original Cordura Duck canvas, a material that exudes premium craftsmanship in all aspects. This fabric is woven from Zimbabwe cotton warp yarns, prized for their uneven thickness and rough texture, which are combined with smooth, durable Cordura 1000D nylon yarns that give the fabric excellent durability and a water-repellant nature. This is not an easy fabric to weave, but Japan's skilled artisans and vintage shuttle looms make it possible.
Porter's Cordura Duck is a unique fabric that combines modern high-tech nylon yarns with rough, textured low-tech cotton yarns, giving the material a special hand that is supple and durable, while keeping a satisfying slubby texture. Finished with brass metal hardware and custom nylon Jacquard linings with a repeating Porter logo.
The Daypack is a classic backpack style, excellent for a daytrip, hike, or outing where you might need to bring more than would otherwise fit in one of Porter's smaller shoulder or crossbody bags. The spacious main compartment offers plenty of room for whatever larger items you may need to carry around, and also features a large velcro pocket so you can separate documents or smaller items. It also features four substantial exterior pockets: the larger front pocket actually has two separate compartments, one with a zip closure and the other with a snap closure, as well as two side pockets on the edges of the bag, one zippered and one velcro'd.
