This loose-fitting chore jacket is cut from a Japanese jagged deck cloth fabric, a completely unique fabric developed by Samurai. Inspired by traditional, densely woven military deck cloth, this fabric has actually been woven with varying density thanks to a special "shadow weaving" technique, which applies varying amounts of pressure while weaving the fabric, creating inherent diamond "shadows" within the fabric for a completely unique look. 

Samurai's usual double-needle rolled stitch construction has been forgone for this piece, in favour of a classic lockstitch to make for more durable seams, while ensuring those seams will pucker and fade nicely with washing. Cut with a loose body, back action pleats, and wide sleeves for comfort and ease of layering.
