Samurai's annual zodiac denim series continues into 2025 for its sixth iteration: The Year of the Snake. These jeans are sewn with Samurai's beloved 17oz Zero+ Bushido slubby selvedge denim, a fan favourite fabric that always attracts a lot of attention on the shelf due to its prominent texture, deep indigo colour, and rigid handfeel. This denim is a really great example of a fabric that sits in the sweet spot between lighter, more loosely-woven denims and super-heavyweight rigid denims - it has plenty of texture and rigidity to ensure it has excellent break-in and fading potential, without overstaying its welcome on any front. Samurai has chosen their S511 slim tapered fit as the foundation for this special edition denim release, so it features a slim, tapered leg alongside a low-mid rise. 

As always, Samurai packs this denim series with even more details than their usual pair of jeans, which, given their affinity for complex and niche details, really says something. Details include original indigo-dyed "snakeskin" jacquard cotton pocketbags and rear pocket linings, a custom Year of the Snake sheepskin patch, a unique silver & red selvedge ID, and Samurai Rising Sun buttons with a red-coated top button.
