Samurai's 17oz "Zero Bushido" selvedge is not only one of Samurai's fan-favourite fabrics, but is also simply one of the best denims on the market. This heavily textured slubby denim is woven on vintage shuttle looms with Samurai's #5 yarns, which are rough and slubby. Zero is a heavyweight denim with a thick, durable nature and a rough handfeel, and is proven to hold up excellently while showcasing high-contrast fades.
This jean offers an ever-so-slightly slimmed version of Samurai's Regular Straight, sometimes called their Middle Straight. It offers a mid rise and a straight leg with no taper, all the way down to the hem. Not too wide or too narrow, this simple and beautiful silhouette is timeless.
The detailing on these jeans is intricate even for Samurai's standards, as they have variated the stitch count, stitch width, and needle count across the different panels that make up the jeans, showcasing some very impressive attention to detail. They also feature an exclusive leather patch and jacquard pocket bags which exemplify "impermenance" and "the state of zero when the swords are drawn and each warrior stares at the other, ready to strike like lightning."
