Nishiguchi Kutsushita sources extremely high quality merino wool for their gloves, shorn exclusively from New Zealand sheep bred in the Mount Cook region of the southern island. This wool is chosen for its "superfine" nature, with an average fineness of 16 microns, just shy of an ultrafine qualification and comparable to cashmere. These gloves are soft, fluffy, and warm, with the silky texture of cashmere.
