Navvy Boot C.F. Stead Acorn Janus Suede

The Navvy is made on Viberg's anatomical 1940 last that sizes similarly to their 2030 Service Boots, but with a slightly more rounded toe. We suggest sizing down one full size from your standard sneaker size or brannock measurement, but consider a half size down instead if you have wide feet.

Viberg's Navvy Boot is modeled after classic ankle-height derby boots, a very long-standing and versatile style that blends traditional styling with ease of wear, as their slightly less-rugged nature sets these a bit apart from the Viberg Service Boots we all know and love. While they are easy to dress up, they also offer all the style and performance needed for casual wear.

It is without question that C.F. Stead excels with suede, as every single makeup we have received in Stead suede has been excellent. Stead's Janus Suede is the cream of the suede crop, with C.F. Stead themselves considering Janus to be the finest suede on the market. It is produced from full-grain calf skins, carefully selected to ensure that each hide offers the firm, yet silky soft hand that makes Janus Suede one of the most premium suede leathers available. Due to the nature of Janus being a full-grain suede rather than a split-grain hide, it also offers superior durability to many other suedes, and shouldn't be damaged by water or snow, though it may darken the leather or smooth the suede texture.
