IHM-48-BLK 12oz Whipcord Lightweight N1 Deck Jacket Black

The N1 Deck Jacket, inspired by 1940s US Navy deck jackets, is easily one of our favourite cold weather jackets, and Iron Heart's version is the cream of the crop. To expand on their fan-favourite, Iron Heart have introduced this new lightweight model of the N1, which swaps out the winter-weight wool insulation and quilted sleeves for a lighter, water-resistant Japanese Ventile cotton lining, which slims down the silhouette somewhat, enhancing the breathability and climate versatility of the piece. 

The main body of the lightweight N1 is cut from a tough 12oz whipcord jungle cloth, just like Iron Heart's original N1, but the yarns of this whipcord are sulphur-dyed, so these jackets will fade, age, and evolve with wear and wash in a way that the heavier ones will not. With time, the natural patina the fabric will gain will add to the vintage styling of the jacket itself. Finished with corduroy collars, these lightweight N1s are available in two different colourways.
