Inspired by Type II denim jackets from the 1950s, The Flat Head's 50's Model Denim Jacket features plenty of classic design details, including a pleated back and knife pleats on the front, as well as iron buttons and copper rivets that age satisfyingly alongside the denim itself. Speaking of, this jacket is sewn from The Flat Head's original 14.5oz Japanese selvedge denim, which is woven on vintage shuttle looms at a low tension for plenty of authentically vintage texture, and is known for its character and propensity for fading vertically over time. This jacket is in a classic fit, featuring a slightly looser and shorter body, and is finished with chainstitch construction and waist adjusters.
