Inspired by classic U.S.N deck jackets, and designed for the civilian population and everyday use, The Flat Head's Boa Jackets streamline the classic design of a military deck jacket, reducing the bulk and increasing the wearability of the piece, since you probably won't be standing on the deck of an aircraft carrier, but will need to stay warm in the winter. It retains some classic military details and styling, giving it a clean look with clear inspiration while staying lightweight, warm, and functional.

The shell is a 100% cotton fabric called MASTER SHIELD, a dense specialized fabric originally developed in the 1890s as cold weather clothing for British Air Force Pilots. It is made entirely from Giza cotton fibers, giving it a soft, lustrous texture, plenty of water resistance, and an incredible handfeel. These Boa Jackets are lined with a baby alpaca/merino wool blend which is incredibly soft and very warm, and are finished with a collar flap, a windflap covered placket, hidden ribbed cuffs, and drawstrings for wind resistance, as well as two lined handwarmer pockets and two interior storage pockets.
