UES' thermal shirts take advantage of a thick, double honeycomb knit weave, coming in thicker and denser than your standard waffle knit at a 16.5oz weight. The honeycomb weave serves the same base purpose as a waffle knit, with the weave creating pockets that allow you to regulate body heat throughout chilly winter days while still allowing some airflow to prevent you from overheating.

These are the most substantial base layers we stock, and are perfect for our Canadian climate so this will keep you cozy by itself on brisk days, and will continue to see wear all winter long as your base layer. These thermals feature a fit closer to the body as this is ideal for heat retention, but the honeycomb knit will stretch for comfort as you wear it, to keep a slim yet comfortable fit. The natural 100% cotton fibers and well-thought fit allow these to perform perfectly, not to be outdone by technical modern fabrics.
