Anian

Anian proudly refers to themselves as a "circular" operation, meaning that Anian sources their own fabrics by carefully selecting excess or waste fabric from used clothing, and then shredding and reweaving them into their own recycled fabrics, rather than using newly produced yarns or fabrics. This process is a result of a brand ethos centered around the earth it was born on. Anian operates on a belief that the clothing we wear should not negatively impact the land we wear it on, and for this reason Anian painstakingly sifts through tossed garments in order to weave their own recycled wools.

Since they opened shop just over a decade ago in Victoria, British Columbia, Anian has transformed over 600,000 pounds of textile waste that would otherwise have ended up in the landfill into beautiful recycled fabrics. However, Anian's eye for fabric extends further than environmentalism - their strong love for natural fibers and Canadian craftsmanship produced garments that aren't only environmentally friendly, but also durable, long-wearing, and with a timeless style and great fit all made in Canada.
