Crafted entirely in Tuscany, Italy by master leather artisans, the Florentian brand Il Bisonte has specialized in authentic, high quality Italian leather goods since 1970, with a focus on creating beautiful lifetime goods that align with Italy's perfected casual-chic style. Il Bisonte exclusively uses Italian vegetable-tanned cowhide, since it ages and patinas beautifully with a bit of handling and some everyday wear, changing over time just like we do. These leathers are dyed entirely with natural tannins, and without chrome or chemicals. A well patinaed leather wallet or belt represents the Italian casual-chic approach excellently, as these items are timeless and durable, and always compliment outfits of any sort.
Fengilia is Il Bistone's slimmest, lowest-profile bifold, which forgoes additional pockets and details in order to keep it simple, light, and as flat as a bifold can be. This makes the Fengilia lightweight and easy to carry, keeping it to just eight interior card pockets and an unlined bifold pouch. As per Il Bisonte's quality standards, these bifolds are crafted from a soft, supple veg-tanned Italian cowhide with tons of unique natural texture. The grain and texture of these leathers will only improve through carrying and handling, creating completely unique patinaed colours with some time. Natural is a very lightly tanned hide with a light tan colouring that makes for the perfect patina foundation. This leather will patina drastically without any added oils or tannins, so it will age in accordance with how it is used, and ultimately result in a beautiful deep brown with incredible undertones.
