Wesco's 9165 last is a D width and runs slightly large, so we recommend sizing down one half size from your properly measured Brannock size, or standard US sneaker size. If you have a very wide foot, consider going true to size. Wesco's lace-to-toe styles are quite accomodating, so sizing up or down usually isn't a big issue as long as they are laced accordingly. Each boot also includes a leather footbed, which can be removed to provide more volume or to accomodate a different insole.

This is our first time stocking Wesco's Jobmaster, which has always been one of their most popular and longest running boot styles due to its versatility, as well as the variety of makeups that can be customized. While Wesco's stock Jobmasters have always been versatile workhorses made with steel toes, lug soles, tall shafts, and a legion of speedhooks to keep feet secure during hours of labour, we have chosen to cut out the heavier duty, worksite-specific specs in favour of an extremely versatile boot for multiple settings. Our custom Wesco Jobmasters feature a shorter, 6" height for everday wear, low-heel Vibram wedge soles, and partially structured toes instead of fully reinforced steel toes. Otherwise, these Jobmasters are built to the same heavy duty specs as Wesco's stock models, and are sure to hold up incredibly through many years and plenty of wear. 

We have chosen Wesco's British Tan Domane Roughout for this makeup, as we feel that its hardy, durable nature and textured nap leave it primed for outstanding patina. This isn't our first time using this British Tan leather for our custom Wesco makeups, as we have offered a British Tan version of our custom Wesco Hendriks for nearly five years. It has absolutely proven itself as a bulletproof option for footwear uppers, and its patina potential is without question - the nap is soft and textured, but not fragile, and that texture leads to a beautiful, varied patina across the boot as the golden tan hues darken, burnish, and become more complex. These boots are finished with brass eyelets that contrast nicely with the tan and brown tones, and the upper is constructed with triple stitched rows using interchanging white and brown threads.
