Produced in extremely limited quantities, these shirts are dyed using the traditional mud-dyeing techniques of Amami Oshima, a historic Japanese dyeing method known for its deep, earthy tones and natural irregularity. The process involves repeated dye baths using natural plant dyes and iron-rich mud, creating a colour and texture that simply cannot be replicated through modern industrial dyeing methods.

Constructed on traditional loopwheel knitting machines, the fabric carries that signature tubular feel with a soft, tension-free hand that only improves with wear. The combination of old-world dyeing techniques and slow-knit loopwheel construction gives these tees incredible depth, character, and individuality right from the start.
