These loopwheeled hoodies are knit in Wakayama, Japan, in one of only two remaining loopwheel knitting factories in the entire world. They are crafted from thick loopwheeled cotton fleece, slowly knitted on vintage hanging loopwheelers that utilize only the weight of the yarns themselves, with zero additional tension added. These traditional knitting machines create cotton fabrics that are undeniably better than those made on modern machines; offering superior handfeel, longevity, and inherent stretch capability. 

Studio D'Artisan's loopwheeled hoodies are cut in a classic 1960s cut, featuring a boxier body with a slightly shorter length and a longer ribbed hem. They feature two patch-style handwarmer pockets, intricately ribbed cuffs and hem, a heavy cotton drawstring and a double-layered hood.
