Wesco's MP95 last is a D width and runs slightly large, so we recommend sizing down one half size from your properly measured Brannock size, or standard US sneaker size. If you have a very wide foot, consider going true to size. Each boot also includes a leather footbed, which can be removed to provide more volume or to accomodate a different insole.

We are proud to announce our new collection of custom Wesco Boots makeups, made exclusively to commemorate Brooklyn Clothing’s 36th anniversary. Crafted from richly toned Horween Chromexcel leathers, this release features two special makeups: the Mister Lou Engineer Boot in deep Mahogany Chromexcel, and the Henrik Boot offered in three distinctive shades; Olive, Timber, and Calvados Chromexcel.

Chromexcel is a hot-stuffed combination tanned leather that goes through a lengthy tanning process at Horween's facility in Chicago. The end product is a soft, supple, and flexible hide packed full of oils, which gives Chromexcel the excellent pullup that it is known for - when the leather is flexed or bent, the oils are displaced and beautiful tonal highs and lows become visible. CXL only gets better with age, and taking care of the leather is as simple as it gets. Frequent brushing will blend scuffs and bring wicked patina, while the inherent oils in the hide keep it from drying out quickly.

These Chromexcel Hendrik boots are a continuation of our past custom Wesco makeups, in which we wanted to showcase Wesco's incredible PNW craftsmanship through a style that we are all intimately familiar with in the shop: a classic 7" toe-cap service boot, built to the specs of a heritage work boot. These are built on the usual MP95 last with Wesco's regular toe, offering an anatomical shape that pairs well with the toe cap, leather midsole, leather stacked heel, and Vibram outsoles for a classic silhouette that lands somewhere between a west coast workboot and a WWII service boot. Details include a straight toe cap, nordic brass eyelets, tonal upper stitching, and natural leather midsoles, with #269 Vibram Western soles and heels to finish it off.
