Inspired by vintage US Army knits from WWII, these Commando Sweaters feature a complex construction, featuring multiple types of knit throughout the garment for both form and function. Most of the body is constructed from a chunky ribbed knit with a satisfying texture, which becomes a tighter rib closer to the hem and cuffs for fit and structure. The elbows are reinforced with a thicker, more robust knit for longevity, and the shoulders are made from a soft, stretchy zig-zag knit that visually breaks up the torso, giving it a more interesting look. They are finished with a thick ribbed crewneck, and feature a military inspired fit, with a classic body shape and tapered sleeves, designed to layer over tees and under jackets.

The Commando Sweater is made from a 100% wool Merino wool blend with a myriad of coloured neps dotted across the fabric, making it quite functional in terms of heat retention and temperature control. It offers a very soft hand with a satisfying texture, and is extremely comfortable on body, making this a top choice for a go-to sweater.
