FN-OJ-D101 14.5oz Left Hand Twill 1940s Denim Jacket
Based off 1940's "war model" denim jackets that were produced during WWII, these Flat Head denim jackets feature the same Type 1-adjacent details as the vintage models, with a bit of a unique Flat Head spin. Details include a large spade-shaped chest pocket with exposed rivets, front knife pleats, and riveted back panels, with era-appropriate iron buttons and copper rivets to finish the jacket. Sewn from Flat Head's original 14.5oz Left Hand Twill Japanese selvedge denim, this fabric offers a somewhat stiff hand with plenty of underlying vertical texture waiting to pop through. It is woven on vintage shuttle looms at a low tension to ensure vertical slub throughout, and is known for its character and propensity for fading vertically over time. This jacket is in a classic fit, featuring a slightly looser and shorter body, and is finished with chainstitch construction.
