5726 Persimmon Tannin Sashiko Shirt

A shirt like this makes it completely undeniable that Studio D'Artisan is producing some of the most interesting fabrics out there - this is a variation of their Noragi Sashiko fabric, dyed with kakishibu (persimmon tannin) to a pallet of deep rusty browns and finished with a geometric sashiko stitched pattern in the shape of a persimmon leaf. Three different shades of kakishibu-dyed fabric come together into a checkered pattern, created by carefully controlling the persimmon tannin dye and adjusting the number of dyeings. Studio D'Artisan's workshirt cut offers a fuller body, featuring tonal nut buttons and finished with double-needle chainstitch contstruction.
