B402-I Baker Pant Indigo
Military fatigue pants, or "baker pants," are based off of vintage pairs of American OG-107 fatigue pants, first produced around the time of the Korean War. These pants feature wide, loose silhouettes with rear flap pockets and front patch pockets, and quickly became popular with domestic and international civilians as the pants made their way into thrift stores across the world. UES crafts their Baker Pants with upgraded specs compared to the original, featuring a thick, heavyweight fabric that offers greater durability, softness, and texture when compared to vintage examples.
This shuttle-loomed selvedge cotton is woven from long-staple Zimbabwe cotton, so it references the original cotton sateens used for OG-107 fatigues, while funtionally surpassing it. The textured yarns and vintage looms that are used to craft these pants gives the finished product some satisfying yet subtle slub, that will become a bit more noticeable as the fabric ages. The cut of the pants itself has also been updated from the original vintage models, so that UES' Baker Pant features a proper modern waistband, so you can get the classic details of a vintage pair with the easy comfort of a modern pant.
