With an excellent boxy shape and unique fabric options, Samurai's short-sleeved open collar shirts are some of our favourite summer shirts available. The fit is a bit loose to allow for airflow and temperature regulation, with an open collar and a single chest pocket to keep it classic. 

In Japanese, "Kanoko" means "fawn" when translated literally, but it is also sometimes used to describe a variagated dot pattern like the spots on a fawn's back, particularly in relation to shibori dyeing. While not shibori dyed, Samurai's proprietary "Kanoko Aimadara" fabric combines cotton yarns dyed in a blend of natural and regular indigo with brown-dyed yarns to create a variagated reinforced in high wear areas with sashiko weaving techniques, increasing the strength of the fabric and ensuring that the spotted pattern will stand out more with wear.
