SJCJK25-YR Bi-Blue Indigo Jacket
Crafted from two unique natural indigo rope-dyed fabrics, both woven in Japan, this jacket takes Samurai's expertise in texture to the next level by setting the stage for some incredible fades, across two separate fabrics with quite complex weaves. The body is cut from an indigo-dyed cotton with a horizontal slub so heavy that it covers the face of the fabric consistently, and the sleeves are made from a woven cotton inspired by ripstop, with irregular raised lines of stitching that intersect with eachother to improve tear resistance.
Samurai's usual double-needle rolled stitch construction has been forgone for this piece, in favour of a classic lockstitch to make for more durable seams, while ensuring those seams will pucker and fade nicely with washing. Cut with a loose body, back action pleats, and wide sleeves for comfort and ease of layering.
