S211XX Murasame 17oz Slub Selvedge Denim Relaxed Taper Indigo

Samurai's 211 relaxed tapered cut features a quite versatile fit, with a high rise, roomy thigh and top block, and a taper from the knee down. This model is crafted from a heavily textured 17oz Japanese selvedge denim with a deep indigo dye that will fade out into vertically textured fades due to the inherent vertical slub of the fabric. "Murasame" is often translated as "autumn rain," and typically refers to the cold rains of autumn in Japanese poetic traditions. These rainshowers transition between heavy and light rainfall during a single rainstorm, and the vertical texture of this denim is meant to evoke those rapid, shifting showers, particularly as it fades vertically against the deep indigo backdrop.
