502510 100% Cotton Denim Shirt

This classic denim work shirt is crafted with a traditional 3x1 weave denim, weighing in at 9oz for easy wearability and plenty of versatility. A 3x1 weave is denim in its original form, where 3 warp threads are used for each weft thread. This gives the fabric a very nice vertical fading potential, as well as some subtle crosshatching texture upon closer inspection. This type of denim is quite authentic to vintage workwear, where lighter fabrics were much more commonplace than the heavyweight nature of today's raw and selvedge denims - in fact, light to midweight denim is much more durable than one might expect when comparing to heavy weight fabrics, offering a similarly long lifespan. The rinsed indigo colour, black resin buttons, and tonal grey stitching are all details reminiscent of vintage lightweight denim workshirts.
