400-WW Post World War II Model Japanese Selvedge Denim
These jeans are a reproduction of WWII-era jeans made during wartime, and are authentically crafted to the vintage specs of jeans at the time, with unique contstruction details due to the limited materials and speed of production during WWII. As per the specs, these jeans are cut into a classic straight fit with all-over yellow stitching and leftover selvedge sateen pocketbags. These are crafted from UES' 14.9oz Japanese selvedge denim, made from brown cotton spun with bespoke yarns prior to rope-dyeing to give the fabric a darker, authentic indigo shade. The twisted yarns are then woven into denim on vintage power looms, which retain the natural texture and colour of the threads, and results in a deeply dyed denim that is sure to produce standout fades with time.
