Samurai's classic work shirt has been given an innovative textile overhaul in the form of this overdyed black sashiko flannel fabric, offering incredible patina potential atop a very unique fabric. This shirt begins with heavily textured cotton yarns, which are carefully woven into this excellent sashiko fabric on vintage shuttle looms at a low tension, ensuring that the shirt is quite comfortable, despite the overt texture, substantial feel, and lack of additional brushing. This really is a very impressive fabric, it takes sashiko to the next level and exemplifies Samurai's innovative nature. The black overdye process overhauls the already-exemplary sashiko underneath, granting it complex patina and fade potential that will showcase beautiful hues after wearing and washing.

Like usual, Samurai's workshirts are overbuilt to ensure long-lasting durability, so it is constructed with triple-needle chainstitched seams that are sure to hold up, and while the fabric is woven at a low tension, the textured high-density yarns at the core of the fabric keep it quite durable. This shirt also features two chest pockets, side gussets, custom engraved indigo-dyed nut buttons, and chainstitch runoff.
