Based off a denim blouse and matching waist overalls from 1936, Sugar Cane's "2025 Model" SC42025 features a wide leg workpant silhouette, with the rear seam and crotch rivet serving to cinch the waist in somewhat, acting similarly to how the suspender buttons and cinch-back waist on the originals would have brought in the waist relative to the fit of the legs. The denim itself is Sugar Cane's "STANDARD," a 13oz Japanese selvedge denim that is specially made to replicate the rough, uneven nature of vintage raw denim, just like the originals. It offers a deep, dark indigo hue and an uneven texture that is sure to fade out excellently with time.
