The original N1 Boondockers were made in the 1940s, as military service boots for American soldiers deploying to Europe. These are built on the original 001 WWII last, which was designed to fit almost all feet, offering a more anatomical shape that was more versatile and comfortable for many. Constructed with vintage-style military details including brown hardware, brown Itshide Commando outsoles, and traditional, resoleable, 270 degree Goodyear welt construction. Crafted from a heavyweight bovine roughout with a textured hand that is sure to age substantially with time and wear, eventually darkening into a brown.
