The Flat Head's Single Rider's Jacket is designed as a functional and versatile leather jacket, incorporating a number of practical motorcycle details, while keeping it very wearable and stylish for everyday use. The design is based on a vintage 1940s single rider's jacket from The Flat Head archive, featuring a classic, boxy cut without a pleated back to create a clean look throughout the piece. The pattern is cut with tilted armholes that provide superior range of motion, paired with slightly sloped shoulders and a robust collar that won't interfere with a helmet, while also holding a rigid shape that won't spread out over time. 

These jackets are crafted by STOCKBURG, The Flat Head's in-house leather craft workshop. TFH and STOCKBURG have been producing high quality leather wallets, bags, and accessories for quite some time, and have applied the meticulous sewing techniques they have developed to the production of this leather jacket to create one of the most well-designed and well-finished leather jackets on the market today. Crafted with a semi-aniline-finished teacore horsehide from the legendary Japanese horsehide tannery Shinki Hikaku, who make some of the best horsehide in the entire world, hands down. 

These jackets are constructed with contrasting brown stitching for two reasons: Firstly, to showcase STOCKBURG's expert craftsmanship, and secondly, because it will simply look excellent once the brown teacore begins to show through. Constructed with two handwarmer pockets and a single chest pocket all with zip closures, a zip front, zippered forearm gussets with pigskin lining, a red rayon lined interior with a single internal storage pocket, and two waist adjuster belts with iron buckles.
