Dehen's Pilot Jacket taps into vintage militaria, directly inspired by American military flight and bomber jackets, and adopts their relaxed shape into a more casual piece of outerwear, just as civilians and veterans have been doing for decades. It has a classic fit and a shorter length with room for layering, and a simple body with two handwarmer pockets, a zip front, and ribbed knit worsted wool cuffs, collar, and hem. 

This jacket is made with a 12oz Regal Blue dry waxed canvas exterior, woven in the U.K. by Halley Stevensons, and lacks the sticky hand that most waxed canvases have inherently, which gives the exterior a much nicer feel. Despite that, it still offers weather-proof functionality as the wax is imbued within the fabric. The piece is finished with a full tonal satin lining, a heavy duty nickel zip, ands worsted wool trim.
