Stocked only at select Union Trade Show retailers in limited quantities, Full Count has produced a unique Japanese selvedge denim that incorporates sulphur-dyed olive drab warp and beige weft yarns together into a rugged fabric that heavily invokes vintage military workwear. The hand is thick and substantial, with a dry, almost "chalky" hand that will develop an earthy patina through time and wear, making each piece unique and special to you.

The Type I is the original denim jacket, with origins dating back to the early 1900s when it was originally designed and produced as workwear for the American labourer - ranchers, miners, and blue collar workers of all sorts adopted the workwear "blouse," as they were known up until the late 1930s, when the Type 1 was showcased in a ranchwear catalogue as a jacket. Officially introduced in 1905 by Levi's, the Type 1 was a more finished, structured version of the pleated workwear blouses that came before it, featuring a boxy shape and a pleated front with a single chest pocket and a rear buckle-back size adjuster.
