Kato's Propellor jacket is a riff on the classic A-2 military flight jacket, an iconic symbol of post-WWII Americana. Their version removes the classic knitted cuffs and hem of the original, creating a sharper silhouette. Finished with custom vintage-style Universal zippers and cat's eye buttons.
This jacket is made from an incredible heavyweight beach cloth, a very functional fabric that is becoming increasingly rare. Originally created by Brown's Beach, this fabric is now only produced by select Japanese mills capable of making it to its true specifications. It features a dense cotton exterior with a warm wool interior that cuts wind and weather while keeping you comfortable.
