Founded in Okayama in 1993 by Mikiharu Tsujiita, Full Count prides themselves on their ability to "keep making the same jeans." This may seem odd at first, until one learns Full Count's belief that over the long history of denim, the very best jeans were only made for a period of roughly a dozen years, during the 40's-50's, which offered unmatched comfort and fading. "Ideal jeans that have only been made for a dozen years." Full Count strives to be the world's greatest jean maker by reproducing and maintaining those vintage qualities better than ever.

This journey began by personally disassembling vintage jeans to fully understand their greatness - from there Full Count began collecting very rare power looms and forming a partnership with a now 120 year old weaving factory, who exclusively manufacture Full Count's incredible fabrics. Tsujita-san is also the reason why Full Count was the very first denim company to use Zimbabwean cotton, an integral aspect of what makes their jeans so special. Generally, we recommend to size up from your usual size for Full Count garments, due to Japanese sizing. Some of their looser vintage cuts may run a slightly truer to size, however.
