BR29143 William Gibson Collection Black Chambray Work Shirt
Buzz Rickson's collaborative collection with Canadian Science-Fiction author William Gibson dates back to 2003. In Gibson's "Pattern Recognition", the main character wears a black Buzz Rickson MA-1 jacket, a piece which, at the time, had never actually been produced. Gibson had seen the brand both in Japan and internationally at a time when it was still very niche, and began wearing it. After writing about the Black MA-1, he was later contacted by Buzz Rickson who were confused by the requests they had been getting, about a jacket they had never made. This led to the production and sale of the black MA-1, and more than 20 years later, the collection is stronger than ever.
Buzz Rickson's chambray work shirt is a staple of the brand, with more than 20 years since its launch. These shirts are made from an authentic cotton chambray woven on vintage looms, giving it a unique unevenness and satisfying texture. Finished with slight contrast chainstitching, two chest pockets, and side gussets.
