Mock-twist chambray shirts are a classic example of early-mid 20th century Americana workwear, offering a denser, stronger chambray fabric that is woven from cotton yarns that are tightly twisted around themselves, giving the fabric better durability and an attractive heathered texture. Buzz Rickson's mock-twist chambrays aren't made to look like work shirts - they are constructed just like a true 1930s utility garment, offering properly reinforced double-needle chainstitched seams, high-quality urea buttons, and authentic union-style labels. Of course, the fabric itself is a high-quality Japanese selvedge fabric, made on vintage shuttle looms and cut in a classic work shirt silhouette with simple chest pockets, selvedge-cut side gussets, and a classically shaped collar.
