This 15.5oz Sashiko Service Shirt is a very limited release, and we are excited to be the only Canadian Rogue Territory retailer stocking this piece! RGT's Japanese sashiko offerings are always their most limited, hard-sought garments, often almost completely exclusive to RGT themselves, so we are always stoked to get our hands on some of this incredible fabric.
Woven in Japan exclusively for Rogue Territory, this 100% cotton double-ply indigo sashiko weighs in at a substantial, yet very wearable 15.5oz. Double-ply fabrics are made from two interwoven fabrics, resulting in something similar to a lined shirt or jacket, but much lighter and more pliable. This type of fabric is quite difficult to produce, requiring two looms weaving together simultenously, but in return these very unique fabrics perform excellently, particularly when in the form of an overshirt where it is at its most versatile. This garment features RGT's Service Shirt cut, with a roomier overshirt cut, brass snap buttons, handwarmer pockets, as well as lined cuffs and collar.
