These are the first slubby flannels UES has made in the past nine years; a welcome addition to their incredible line of Japanese made flannel shirts, and a departure from their usual heavyweight flannels by focusing more on the texture, rather than on the weight. Crafted from a midweight selvedge flannel, these fabrics feature a ton of horizontal slub, giving these shirts a really pleasant hand that is both heavily textured and incredibly soft. Once again, UES cements themselves as one of the best flannel makers out there!

These slubby flannels weigh in just under 9oz, making them lighter in weight than UES' other flannel shirts for a more versatile all-season piece, as well as being a bit easier to layer with. We feel that the lighter weight makes these a really great alternative to the usual heavyweight Japanese flannels, as the brushed surface still gives plenty of comfort and warmth, without being truly heavyweight. Available in mustard, purple, and red plaid colourways.
