Twisted Yarn Triple Stitch Shirt Indigo

This unique shirt is made from a UES original fabric called "Akiha" that uses "additional twisted yarn," which is twisted more times than usual in the spinning process. Additional twisted yarn creates irregularities in the fabric due to the force of shrinkage, creating a unique texture. In addition to this, the number of warp threads is not evenly distributed, but is instead reduced at regular intervals, creating a striped pattern where the thread density is higher, while also creating a rough texture in the stripe.

The unevenness of this Akiha fabric makes it breathable and prevents hot air from becoming trapped between the fabric and your skin. The woven texture also minimizes the amount of surface area in contact with your skin. Both of these are inherent benefits of the Akiha fabric, and work to keep you cool in hot weather, with a very breathable light texture.
