View full details3sixteen's story begins in 2008, with a pair of blue jeans. The SL-100x, the brand's first ever pair of jeans, is responsible for putting them on the map. At a time where raw denim was building up steam ahead of its modern peak roughly around 2012 or so, 3sixteen's first pair of jeans came onto the scene at the perfect time to capture a clientele appreciative of not just Japanese raw denim, but also high quality heritage goods with a more topical approach to styling that aligns perfectly with their New York beginnings.
That first pair of jeans was creating with ultimate attention to detail in every part of the jean, down to the tiniest detail, all intended to highlight the core tenets of the brand itself: longevity, quality, and versatility in both construction, fabric, and styling. That ethos has remained as 3sixteen's heart and soul as they have grown into one of our strongest brand offerings with some of the best versatility in the shop. Like their jeans, their shirts, tees, and jackets are all built with the same intention to improve with age, so these beautiful pieces will become beautiful rather than old. 3sixteen goes the extra mile to create mutually beneficial relationships with the artists and craftsmen they partner with, to show their appreciation for everyone's hard work, following their namesake.
3sixteen ethically sources their fabrics from Canada, the United States, Japan, and their artisan partner factory in India for a few select pieces that require block printing or similarly . For the most part we consider 3sixteen true to size, but consider the measurements on the t-shirts and flannels as they are a tad slimmer.
