PRE-SALE LK-013 15th Anniversary Limited Edition Ezo Bear Monkey Boots
This is a presale listing. These boots are scheduled for October 2025.
John Lofgren's 110 last runs large, we recommend sizing down one half size from your standard sneaker size or Brannock measurement. Consider a half size down if you have wide feet.
For their 15th Anniversary, John Lofgren have produced an extremely special release, crafted from some of the rarest leather on the entire planet. This limited edition Monkey Boot makeup features vegetable-tanned Ezo bear hide, and is only possible thanks to years of quiet patience and deep respect. These hides have been ethically gathered over the last three years, sourced entirely from the natural passing of wild Ezo bears in their natural habitat in a profound effort to respect and retain the connection to nature.
The Ezo bear holds deep spiritual significance for the Ainu, the Indigenous people of Hokkaido. Known as Kimun Kamuy, or the mountain god, the bear is revered as both protector and provider, a sacred being whose flesh and hide are considered gifts from the divine. Each pair of these boots is a tribute not only to the Ezo bear itself, but also to the traditions, beliefs, and landscapes that shaped its legacy. John Lofgren invites to walk with them in honoring that spirit.
