Il Bisonte exclusively uses Italian vegetable-tanned cowhide, since it ages and patinas beautifully with a bit of handling and some everyday wear, changing over time just like we do. These leathers are dyed entirely with natural tannins, and without chrome or chemicals. Il Bisonte's classic leather belts are intricately crafted in Tuscany, Italy, and clearly showcase the legacy of Florentian leather artisanship through their finely crafted nature and subtle embossed edges. With heavy-duty brass buckles and a 1.35" width, these belts are wide enough to look fantastic with jeans, without becoming too wide for most pants and trousers. They also feature very fine embossed edges along the strap and the loops, giving it depth and adding definition to an outfit. Il Bisonte belts are crafted from veg-tanned Italian cowhide leather, which ensures each belt has its own unique natural texture that will become apparent as the leather patinaes and ages. You can expect the natural, brown, and caramel shades to all darken with time, as the oils from your hands and the friction from your pants age the leather, although the black won't change in colour much.
