Service Boot 2030 Maryam T. Moro Horsebutt
All our Viberg Service Boots are on a single E width, we suggest sizing down one full size from your standard sneaker size or brannock measurement. Consider a half size down if you have wide feet.
Viberg's Service Boot is directly based on their original model, first produced in 1931. A similar pattern was also used by multiple nations as a standard issue military boot during WWII, however Viberg's quintessential Service Boot is modeled after the Canadian military's WWII Service Boot pattern.
Maryam's T.Moro Horsebutt is a thick, full-grain leather that, as usual for Maryam, features intact Shell Cordovan throughout the hide that is specifically highlighted with an aniline finish intended to showcase the leather's natural character, of which it has plenty.
This horsebutt is first barrel-aged with the use of vegetable tannins, following that process a blend of oils and waxes is applied in order to soften the leather for break-in while also making it easier to polish. On that note, the final step is Maryam's TPR finish, which gives the leather a shell-esque shine that can be upkept and polished easily, but if you prefer to wear these hard and watch the leather age it will dissipate.
