Field Jacket Brown Wool Herringbone
Yet another incredible Japanese wool knit has arrived from Rogue Territory, blending attributes from their two very recent and very successful knit drops: This Brushed Wool Herringbone Field Shirt shares the knit overshirt/jacket essence seen in the Wool Dot Knit Field Shirt from the other week, while also presenting the incredible weight and hand of a shaggy wool plaid, as seen in the nearly-sold-out Shaggy Wool Utility Shirt from the very end of November. You could say it takes the best of two already outstanding worlds, and this truly is the king of kings one would expect to cap off such an incredible season of knits from Rogue Territory.
This is truly a perfect overshirt for the end of the year, and will see plenty of wear in both cold and mild winter climates, as this is where well-made wool overshirts are at their strongest. Unlike the latest Field Shirt, this one is unlined in the body and sleeve in order for it to fill a more versatile selection of roles, where a fully-lined piece of a similar weight is definitely more of a true outerwear piece. As expected from RGT's heavier Field Shirts, the Brushed Wool Herringbone Field Shirt features two large chest pockets (this time with flap closures!), welted handwarmer pockets, and snap closures. While it is not fully lined, this shirt does feature navy cotton twill lining on the interiors of the placket, hem, and cuffs.
