SaturdayTypeFever 9oz Black Cotton Shirt Black71

$254.00 USD

SaturdayTypeFever was originally started to produce limited edition art prints inspired by 70s style, music and culture from soul/funk/disco, striking typography and music and movie icons - from Elvis and Marilyn Monroe to Nick Cave etc, all hand finished using diamond dust or gold leaf. A few years back, the mind behind the brand begun working for Iron Heart, inspiring him to create garments using the knowledge and experience gained working for the Japanese denim powerhouse, while incorporating his love for 1970s art and design.

The result is this series of shirts woven from a 9oz Japanese basketweave in various colours, featuring STF artwork of various pop culture icons on the interior pocket: "There should always be a reason for your design."

Black71, a limited edition versatile shirt/jacket, handmade in London by ateliers from 9oz black cotton basket weave with tonal stitching, custom pewter donut snaps and a single outside pocket adding to the clean profile. Inside every SaturdayTypeFever shirt hides a piece of art that creates the handy inside pocket. The art follows the 'colour • dots • type' style of the SaturdayTypeFever art prints. For Black71 the subject is the legendary Johnny Cash.
