As always, the Leisure Shirt presents beautifully creative and unique designs to pair alongside the consistently top-tier Vacation Shirt in 3sixteen's seasonal collections, both being inspired by 1950's open-collar shirts. This interpretation of the style features beautifully intricate embroidered stars throughout the body and sleeves of the shirt, which are woven onto a 100% tencel base that is slightly heavier than 3sixteen's usual S/S tencel offerings to provide structure for the embroidery. All the panels are hand cut to ensure a perfect pattern placement. Invoking contemporary American artist Frank Stella's "Star of Persia" works in theme with the inspiration behind this Spring/Summer collection, this embroidered geometric star pattern is a great example of how 3sixteen takes both proven and provoking ideas from the past and build them into an attractive and timeless garment that makes the quality and intention behind the piece obvious.
