All our Viberg Service Boots are on a single E width, we suggest sizing down one full size from your standard sneaker size or brannock measurement. Consider a half size down if you have wide feet.

Viberg's Service Boot is directly based on their original model, first produced in 1931. A similar pattern was also used by multiple nations as a standard issue military boot during WWII, however Viberg's quintessential Service Boot is modeled after the Canadian military's WWII Service Boot pattern.

Horween's Bourbon Workshoe Horsebutt is one of their most sought after leathers due to the attractive natural colour variation present throughout the hide, as well as the top tier durability due to the nature of the full-grain heavyweight horsebutt, which features a large amount of Shell Cordovan within the quarters. This is one of Horween's most robust leathers without question, and is perhaps their toughest horsebutt. Combine those qualities with the shell portions within the hides that just look incredible both initially and after tough wear and you find yourself with a truly quality boot crafted from one of the most unique, attractive, and hardwearing rare leathers out there.

Due to the nature of Workshoe Horsebutt each boot will be entirely unique, and will age beautifully over time. As a result of the shell content, this leather tends to create nice rolls in the vamp as opposed to creasing in a more "grainy" effect. Colour variation is normal, expected, and in our opinion, incredibly attractive. You may also see slight variation between the panels, which should even out through wear. Our restock was accidentally made without an upper lining, and as such this product listing is an unlined version of our Bourbon Service Boots. A lined version exists as well.
