John Lofgren's 110 last runs slightly large, we recommend sizing down one half size from your standard sneaker or brannock size. This listing is a pre-order, you will pay a 50% deposit at time of purchase, and the remainder when the boots arrive at the shop. The updated ETA for these boots is now October '23, due to delays at Shinki Hikaku. This is an estimated delivery time.

John Lofgren Bootmaker Engineer Boots are based on careful examination of several pairs of vintage engineers from John's archive. Hours and hours of design, redesign, and more pattern adjustments and sample builds than anyone could possibly tally. The end result represents "Made in Japan" at its finest, painstaking attention to detail, master craftsmanship. JLB engineer boots stand as the masterpiece of the John Lofgren Bootmaker lineup, a boot that conveys the passion and commitment to excellence of the brand. These are the pinnacle of engineer boots.

The horsebutt leather was developed by Shinki Hikaku tannery in Japan. This company specializes in horsehide leather tanning and is considered one of the best, if not the best, tanneries in the world. The horsebutt will feel a bit stiff in the beginning but soon will relax and form around your foot. The leather is visually stunning with always an interesting grain to admire.
